Yup, just you try rushing across those metal rings surrounding the bottom of the spire when it's been raining...
I think we should stick a massive skull & crossbones flag on the spire, how cool would that look? People would think O'Connell st. has been invaded by giant pirates who like to shop at pennies.
Well, that would explain why Penneys does such a neat trade in bandanas and eye-patches.
Come to think of it, a similar stunt has been done before. Anthony Gormley's Angel of the North was dressed in a giant Newcastle United shirt a few years back...
